Terri's Princess Grace (Registered Grand Champion/ 11 Legs)

Picture
Senior REW Doe

Princess Grace comes to us all the way from Terri Smith in Wisconsin.
She is a gorgeous doe who will help our herd with her great body type and wool. Princess Grace already had her beautiful name when we got her.

Kelfla's Bruce Lee (Registered/1 Leg)

Picture
Senior Black Buck

Bruce Lee is an important part of this year's show herd and a hopeful herd sire.  He did very well at his first show earning BOB/2nd RIS in Show A and BOB in Show C at the Johnson County RC/SW RBA Shows in Cleburne, TX.

He was christened Bruce Lee by a nice lady who wanted to buy him. Her plans changed and he got to stay with us which is just fine since I was not ready to let him go yet anyway. Our family liked his name so it stuck.

Kelfla's Florida

Senior Tortoiseshell Doe

Florida has had to grow up in the shadow of her sister, Acadiana, but she is coming into her own now.

Florida is one of our Convention hopefuls. She is quite a lovely girl and, in keeping with her name, she is beginning to bloom.

Florida is named in honor of the Spanish word for flowery or blooming, just like the state.

Our 2013 Show Schedule

Picture
We plan on going to the following shows.  We do our best to edit our schedule to reflect reality, but we are human.  Please contact us to verify we are attending, if you are making a special trip to see us at a show.
Thanks!...and hope to see ya soon!

FH's Mr. Biggles

Senior Broken Tort Buck

Fair Hare's Mr. Biggles is our first English Angora.  He made me fall in love with rabbits. He is so outgoing and an all around cool dude.  Family visitors always ask to see him by name so, of course, we had to include him here.

Kelfla's Cricket

Picture
Senior Chocolate Sable Doe

Cricket is a beautiful  doe that will have a place with our pearl line. She is developing quite nicely with beautiful dense wool and furnishings.  Cricket was named in honor of a cat we once had.  Cricket the rabbit is really sweet.  Cricket the cat was a terror.

Available Rabbits

Picture
We have one smoke pearl English Angora buck available.
This buck will go to his new home neutered. $150.
Last update: March 28, 2013

Our fiber rabbits will usually come to their new home spayed/neutered.  We do not sell rabbits before 10 weeks of age, usually longer.  If you are interested in breeding stock, we do occassionally have some very nice rabbits available. We require a recommendation from an established breeder of our choice OR you can come meet us at a show (or other arranged place) for an Angora bunny bootcamp lesson. Angora rabbits have special grooming and breeding requirements.  We take the responsibility of safeguarding this breed seriously. We know you will not mind these extra steps because you love this breed as much as we do.  Thanks for understanding.

Black English Angora Buck (will be neutered)

Picture
In full coat
6 month old black English Angora buck with gorgeous, silky wool with excellent crimp.  He has an excellent disposition, like most English Angoras and is easy to groom.  He is clipped down right now. His wool is my entry to this year's National Angora Rabbit Breeder's Club wool competition; it is so nice. He will go to his new home neutered. This rabbit will make an excellent fiber bun.  $125 with neuter included.  Please contact us if you are interested. Delivery for free to any shows we are attending.

Kelfla's Kingfish

We're honored to have Kingfish be a part of this year's show herd.  Kingfish earned a BOS in Show B at the Johnson County RC/SW RBA Shows in Cleburne, TX this year.

He is named after one of Louisiana's most famous politicians, Huey P. Long.  Senator Long was known as "the Kingfish".

excited to start the season with her. Thanks, Sara!  Little Sun placed BOB in 2011 SARBA Fall Show A.

All our previously available Kelfla bunnies are happily snuggled in their new homes. We do maintain a contact list.  Please contact us if you wish to be placed on the list to be notified of available rabbits.
